Overview
Charles L. Evans is a macroeconomist and former President of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago (2007–2023). His academic work (with Christiano and Eichenbaum) established the recursive VAR framework for identifying monetary policy shocks and produced the CEE DSGE model with nominal rigidities.
