Hiro Y. Toda is an econometrician at the Institute of Socio-Economic Planning, University of Tsukuba, Japan. Known for foundational work on the asymptotic theory of Granger causality tests in non-stationary VAR systems, in collaboration with Peter C. B. Phillips.
