Max Lu is a geographer at Kansas State University (Department of Geography). He works on applying quantitative time series methods — particularly VAR — to geographic and demographic processes. His 2001 paper introduced VAR methodology to a geographic audience and proposed geographically weighted VAR (GWVAR) as an extension for spatial non-stationarity.
