Overview
George E. P. Box (1919–2013) was a British statistician (Professor, University of Wisconsin–Madison), one of the most influential statisticians of the 20th century — founder of much of modern time-series analysis, experimental design, and Bayesian inference, and author of the aphorism "all models are wrong, but some are useful."
