Overview
Alexander Ludwig is a German macroeconomist, professor at Goethe University Frankfurt and affiliated with the Munich Center for the Economics of Aging (MEA) at the Max Planck Institute for Social Law and Social Policy. His research focuses on quantitative macroeconomics with applications to demographic aging, pension reform, capital accumulation, and intergenerational redistribution, primarily using calibrated overlapping generations (OLG) models.
