Bernice Pescosolido is a Distinguished Professor of Sociology at Indiana University and founding director of the Indiana Consortium for Mental Health Services Research. Her work focuses on the social organization of health care, mental illness stigma, and the network epidemiology of suicide. She is a co-author of the 2011 Annual Review of Sociology review on the sociology of suicide.
