Jacob Bor

Overview

Boston University epidemiologist and global health researcher. Research focuses on the social determinants of health, income-related survival inequalities, and HIV/AIDS epidemiology. Lead author of Bor, Cohen, and Galea (2017), a systematic review of US income- and education-related mortality trends 1980–2015, which contributed a two-channel decomposition showing gradient steepening dominates income-distribution changes in explaining widening LE gaps.
