Key Contributions / Features
- Vocational award trends (Michaud, Nelson, and Wiczer 2017): Co-authored the state-panel decomposition showing that mechanical demographic change (age, education, occupation) explains at most ~16.5% of the post-1985 rise in vocational-stage SSDI awards, leaving most of the trend to behavioral or implementation changes.
