Key Contributions / Features
- SMI physical comorbidity prevalence and disparities (Razzano et al. 2015): Lead author of the multi-state cross-sectional study documenting that 87% of community mental health program clients reported ≥1 of 17 physical conditions, 14/17 conditions were significantly more prevalent than in the general population, and racial/ethnic minority status doubled the odds of hypertension and diabetes within this already-high-risk population. See Multimorbidity.
