Key Contributions / Features

• Medicaid and mortality (Miller, Johnson, and Wherry 2021): Co-authored the individual-level ACS–Numident–CMS linkage study providing quasi-experimental evidence that ACA Medicaid expansion reduced near-elderly low-income mortality, driven by disease-related deaths. See Medicaid and Mortality.
