Overview

Rosa Gómez-Redondo is a professor of demography at the Faculty of Political Science and Sociology, UNED (National Distance Education University), Madrid. Her research focuses on Spanish mortality trends, the health and epidemiological transition, sex differentials in mortality, and longevity. She is the lead author of Gómez-Redondo and Boe (2005), a Pollard-decomposition study of Spain's e₀ gains across 1971–2001 published in Demographic Research as part of the 1st HMD Symposium Special Collection.
