Wilbert van der Klaauw is an economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York (Microeconomic and Regional Studies Function). His research spans labor economics, disability insurance, and applied microeconometrics. He is co-author, with Susan Chen, of the 2008 Journal of Econometrics paper using comparison-group and regression-discontinuity methods to estimate DI work disincentive effects in the 1990s.
