Overview
Xing Yi received his B.E. in Automation Technology from Tsinghua University (2001) and was a graduate student in the Department of Automation, Tsinghua University at the time of publication. His research focuses on machine learning, pattern recognition, and image processing.
Key Contributions / Features
- Zhang-Zhang-Yi (2004): Co-developed the CEM algorithm for finite mixture models; contributed the Chinese character stroke extraction application demonstrating CEM on real-world complex clustering tasks with 500–2500 foreground pixels per character. See Zhang-Zhang-Yi (2004).
