Byron G. Spencer is an economist at McMaster University (Hamilton, Ontario) and co-author of Denton, Feaver, and Spencer (2005), a study of alternative stochastic mortality forecasting methods applied to Canadian mortality data. Note: Byron G. Spencer (McMaster) is a different person from Bruce D. Spencer (Northwestern), the statistician who co-authored the Alho-Spencer stochastic population forecasting series.
