Hiram Beltrán-Sánchez is a demographer at the Fielding School of Public Health, University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), and previously affiliated with the Davis School of Gerontology at USC. His research focuses on population health, cause-of-death analysis, and the long-run determinants of health disparities. He is a co-developer of the integrated cause-deleted life table approach to decomposing life expectancy by cause of death.
