Overview
José-Víctor Ríos-Rull is a professor at the University of Pennsylvania and a Research Associate at NBER. He is one of the leading figures in quantitative macroeconomics with heterogeneous agents, with contributions to life-cycle models, social security, family economics, and the measurement of longevity inequality. His work with Pijoan-Mas introduced the expected longevity framework to the demography literature.
