Christopher R. Walters is an associate professor of economics at UC Berkeley and a Research Associate at NBER. His research focuses on the economics of education — particularly the causal evaluation of charter schools and school choice programs using lottery-based identification — and on econometric methods for heterogeneous treatment effects and marginal treatment effects.
