Thomas J. Kane is a professor at the Harvard University Graduate School of Education. His research focuses on education policy, teacher effectiveness, and the economics of schooling. He is known for work on the Measures of Effective Teaching (MET) project, teacher evaluation methods, and the evaluation of educational interventions using quasi-experimental designs.
